Life of the Church

Central Baptist Church is a community of Christians committed to worshipping God in everything that we do.

From our weekly gatherings to annual events, our prayerful hope is that we encounter the living God. We strive to “do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him!”

Most importantly, we gather each Sunday morning to worship our risen Lord. We gather just like the early Christians and Christians around the world to sing “psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit” and hear God’s Word proclaimed!

On Wednesday evenings, we gather together as a community for a fellowship meal. We eat, share the joys and struggles of life, and commit to seeing God at work in our lives. Midweek Bible studies for the various ages follow the meal.

All are invited as Christ beckons us to come and learn together.

Weekly prayer meeting

Join us each Monday at 5:30 PM as we gather for a time of prayer, reflection, and encouragement. Whether you have a specific need on your heart or simply want to lift up our church, community, and world, all are welcome to come and pray together.

carpenter’s sons ministry

The Carpenter’s Sons Ministry strives to make our Church Road community better. They focus on being the hands and feet of Jesus to those who need it most. Most often, they specialize in building wheelchair ramps for the elderly and disabled.

Children’s ministry

Come join an exciting and vibrant community of Central Baptist children. From favorites like Vacation Bible School and camp to weekly gatherings of fun and learning, Central Baptist is committed to partnering with parents to raise the next generation for Christ.
